Cosmetology Foods Improve Health and Looks

Cosmetology foods can have an impact on your daily life.  What you eat or do not eat can affect how you feel and how you look.  There are several foods, known as cosmetology foods, that bring more balance to the body and can make you look and feel better.  By making you look better, these foods can also increase your self-esteem and confidence.

Cucumbers

Cucumbers are 98 percent water, making them low in calories and also great for hydration.  Your body will look and feel better when it is well-hydrated.  It also is rich in vitamin b12, vitamin C, vitamin E, calcium, phosphorus, and iron.  All of these nutrients are important for health and vitality, as well as looking good.  Traditional Chinese medicine considers cucumber to be a cold food, and therefore it should not be consumed during an illness.

Lotus Root
