Any ingredient, product, treatment or substance that is designed to improve the appearance of something can be defined as a cosmetic. Cosmetic products are typically applied topically and can be brought over-the-counter.
Wax is a very thick substance that is used to remove or style hair. There are several types of waxes available today, and most of them include one or more of the following: sugar, paraffin, lanolin, beeswax, castor and carnauba.
This is a term that is used to describe styling and cutting the hair. This technique keeps the layers at the back of the head shorter than the layers that are at the front.
A bang is a layer of hair that is located close to the forehead. It is cut a-lot shorter than the rest of the hair.

A callus is a part of the skin that is hardened and thickened. The feet, palms and elbows are some of the places were calluses frequently develop. Physical exfoliants and chemical peels are two ways that calluses can be removed.
