Classics

When you think of Halloween, what do you think of? Skeletons, vampires, ghosts, and witches? It wouldn’t be Halloween without the classic spooky figures that embody the holiday. The world of hair and makeup has come far enough to allow us to dress up these classic looks in all new ways. No longer are the days of having to wear plastic masks to complete your look. Makeup artistry brings us gorgeous inspiration. Take a look at some of our extra inspiration, too.

Characters

If you don’t want to be one of four skeletons at your next Halloween party, how about a movie character, superhero, or princess? To keep these looks timeless we would suggest classic movies like Grease, The Breakfast Club, and The Addams Family. Superheroes never get old, but their costumes do. Try something more creative like pop-art makeup! Disney princesses are always a good choice. Or better yet, villains!

Animals

Tigers, and lions, and bears… oh my! How about looking to the animal kingdom for some inspiration? We’ve seen some amazingly creative animal looks recently. This is a case where hair and makeup are both involved. The outfit is less important. If you get your hair styled and makeup on point, there’s no doubting what you are. You and your friends could be a whole zoo of pretty animals. Which one’s your favorite?
